Tiger Woods Triumphs Again with First Masters Win in Over 14 Years

43-year-old golfing legend Tiger Woods roared back to the annals of the sporting elite, with a green jacket from the undulating greens of the Augusta, Georgia Nationals. It was a remarkable win which many were convinced would not happen again, considering the fact that this maverick last won a Masters Tournament in 2005.

Woods last victory at Augusta followed a play-off victory over Chris DiMarco. Sunday’s victory was Woods’ 15th major career victory, and largely recognized as the first ever without a lead to start the final round.

Woods was on close to a year long break from golf up until April 2010, to deal with personal issues, but thereafter, he struggled with a string of injuries and a consistent form into 2014.

Make no mistake, the field at Augusta this past weekend was not an easy one to beat, featuring the likes of Brooks Koepka, Rickie Fowler and Francesco Molinari.

To celebrate Tiger Wood’s amazing and inspirational win, sportswear firm Nike released a new advertisement on Twitter on Sunday.
