Harold Forsyth to denounce Tina Polwarte before the International Criminal Court for alleged systematic human rights abuses | principle

President Tina Polwart will be indicted before the International Criminal Court for alleged systematic violations of human rights (HR) in her current administration, as former OAS representative Harold Forsyth confirmed on Radio Excitosa. This is due to deaths in protests after his inauguration in December 2022.

“This matter does not matter, there are courts to administer justice (…) but there is one called the International Criminal Court (…), and there is a group of citizens of Peru who propose to file a complaint before the International Criminal Court (against Tina Bolvarde) (. ..) for the systematic violation of human rights and the large number of deaths, comrades, without anyone being held accountable,” he declared in Excitosa.

Forsyth was the first person to make such complaints against a Peruvian head of state. As recalled, in December 2022, after the inauguration of the President, there was a series of protests in favor of shutting down the Congress, calling for elections, and calling for his resignation.

Massacre in demonstrations by police and military repression was a reality before and after the administration of Tina Polwart, as citizens who exercised their right to march in the streets were killed in various parts of the country.

Various international organizations have voiced their voices in this nearly 2-year-old government; However, the administration has maintained its firm stance that it will continue until 2026, despite widespread opposition from citizens in the capital and other regions.
