The creation of knowledge transfer programs and the analysis of the use of technologies in the tourism sector are the thematic axes of the Ibero-American Forum for Tourism Development Nayarid 2024, which takes place this week.

Organized by the Pan American Confederation of Hotel, Gastronomy and Tourism Schools (CONPEHT), the event highlighted the importance of scientific research and training a new generation of tourism professionals. Issues directly related to this field are most useful.

Likewise, the relevance of collaborative work by government, social, educational and business sectors was emphasized to create synergy for the benefit of comprehensive education for both students and service providers.

The opening ceremony was presided over by the Secretary of Tourism of the Government of Mexico, Miguel Torruco Márquez, who highlighted the need for applied research to be a pillar guiding the value chain to develop a tourism business intelligence system.

Within the framework of the Ibero-American Forum for Tourism Development Nayarit 2024, in collaboration with Comex and Corazón Urbano, the agreement was signed for Amatlán de Cañas, Ixtlán del Río, Ahuacatlán, Jala, Sanillan Pedro, Laguillan. .

A meeting was also held with the heads of chambers and associations and businessmen from the company's tourism sector, with whom they discussed the importance of this sector for the development of Nayarit.
