From next Tuesday (09.05.2023) to Thursday (09.07.2023) the First Third Shore Education Forum will be held at the Enrique Buenaventura Municipal Theater.
It will be a dialogue for culture, knowledge and peace, in which the relevant actors of the sciences, arts and humanities of Colombia will reflect with different academic and social sectors.
Betcimar Sepulveda, General Director of the First Third Coast Education Forum, expressed the importance of this citizen initiative: “We have convened this city event so that we can talk about the different concepts of education and the urgency to rethink it. If we want to move towards peace.”
Under the direction of Dr. Jorge Iván Ospina and supported by the Mayor’s Office of Santiago de Cali, the event will feature three international and 16 national guests, an open school and a diverse artistic program directed around thematic axes: education, discrimination, environment, art, science, education and ancestral knowledge. , bridges between play and the impact of emotional intelligence.
“We are going to have as a special guest the ‘rockstar’ of philosophy, one of the most important today, Dario Sztajnsrajber from Buenos Aires. We will be joined by the Equatogunian actress Asari Bibang in Spain, the Colombian plastic artist and activist Patricia Ariza to ‘stand up’ on racism, bigotry, racism, etc. -up’,” Sepulveda noted.
In this context, next Thursday (09.07.2023), at 11:00 AM, Dario Sztajnsrajfar will appear at the Los Almendros Auditorium of the University of Javeriana.
Musical guests like Hugo Candelario González, director of Grupo BahÃa, are now ready to share their experiences: “There we will celebrate culture, knowledge and peace, we are waiting for you,” he pointed out.
In turn, the band Hendrix B, born in 2028, will infuse its urban Pacific concept and bring messages of peace rooted in the territory to the forum. Runa Bagari and Chikamocha’s beauty Magdalena will also be on stage.
Another of the invitees is former Colombian national team player and Deportivo Cali player Mario Alberto Yepes, who will share his experiences of La Estrella with young cultural managers from the ‘Tour to the Neighbourhood’ community project in Comuna 20.
Galle public (ages 12+) are invited to this great free event starting at 5:00pm on all three days with free entry.
