Influencer Asks What’s the Cheapest District to Live in Lima and Surprising Answers | Viral

Lima is one of the most populous capitals in Latin America and is divided into 43 districts, so many have been surprised more than once. Which is the higher part? An economy to live on based on basic services and lifestyle, a concern that an influencer has tried to meet, gathers enthusiastic responses from random people on the streets.

Through a particular video that went viral on TikTok in recent days, a profile registered as @elescapediario presented different people’s opinion on this query, which has left many internet users wondering.

SJL and Los Olivos are the most mentioned

The first interviewee was a young woman who might have called the cones ‘periperis’. According to her, the cheapest districts are San Juan de Luricancho and Los Olivos. Later, another woman agrees with the same answer and another respondent has the same opinion.

Other areas mentioned as scenes of interest are Ate, Comas, Santa Anita and Puente Pietra. Most agree that they are cheaper neighborhoods because they are a bit further from the center of Lima where the cost of living is a bit higher. The social experiment left mixed reactions from netizens.

“Because Los Olivos is expensive”, “It’s cheaper to live near a soup kitchen”, “Salamanca is owned by AT and it’s not cheap. It’s too expensive to live in front of Jackie”, “SJL is cheaper now because the rent on the train has gone up”Here are some reactions from the TikTok community.
