In this sense, he emphasized the promotion of the use of innovative technologies such as the portable video surveillance system known as label cameras, the municipal control, command, communication and computer center (C4) via GPS.
“It is essential to take care of those who care for us. It is essential that our police officers are adequately armed and trained to guarantee the safety of our community,” said Montanez Castro. Likewise, he emphasized that investing in security is an undeniable priority because it not only contributes to the security of the residents of the municipality, but also to their well-being and comprehensive development.
In his administration as municipal president, Leo Montanez promised to work hard to strengthen the police force, as evidenced by the provision of 127 new units, including patrol cars, bicycles, motorcycles, cranes and trucks. Also, the agents are provided with ballistic vests, weapons and standard uniforms. As part of this ongoing commitment to improving the working conditions of police officers, a state-of-the-art gymnasium has been opened with the aim of ensuring that they are optimally prepared to face the day-to-day challenges of performing their duties.
