This Halloween season and the month of October, art, science and technology line up Idertes Opens a portfolio of experiential activities for boys, girls and youth.
These experiential activities will provide access to art, science and technology Bogota stageLocated on 2nd floor Bogotá Planetarium, From October 12 to November 25. All tickets include assembly kits and can be purchased Tubolette or at the stage box office.
These activities will allow participants to learn the basics of electronics and get up close to ancient technologies while they assemble and build their own devices that they can then take home. Workshops are a new strategy to bring people closer to artistic languages such as audiovisual, sound, digital, new media practices and their associated history.

Paper Circuit Workshop
Create your own circuit designs and experiment with simple materials!
In this workshop, participants will learn to make simple electronic circuits by hand using paper, copper tape and LEDs, learning the fundamentals of electronics and its components in a creative and fun way.

Observe microbes by building your own microscope!
In this workshop, participants will learn to build microscopes using web cameras that can observe microbes and search for water bears, creatures capable of surviving extreme conditions in space.
This is a great opportunity to explore the interrelationships between the micro and the macro. Imagine what life would be like in space, creating imaginations and possibilities for future worlds.

Bird Flute Workshop
Learn how to make your own songbird, explore their ecosystems and ways to protect them!
In this workshop, participants will learn how to add water to create a singing clay bird and recreate its habitat. The bird is inspired by pre-Columbian musical instruments and whistle bottles dating back to 1200 BC. They will learn about this ancient clay modeling technique and participate in the experience of listening to territories and songs.
By exploring sound feedback, we ask ourselves: How do we hear the void?, think about the disappearance of territories that once held endangered bird species, and explore ways to protect them.
At the end of the workshop, birdsongs created to commemorate National Bird Day and pay tribute to the birds we can no longer hear will be recorded.

Horror Movie Sounding Workshop with Theremin
Learn how to build your Theremin to score sci-fi and horror movies!
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to build their own theremin, which allows you to create unique sounds without physically touching the electronic instrument. You can create soundtracks for pieces from iconic sci-fi and horror films like “Dracula”, “War of the Worlds”, “Creature from the Black Lagoon”, “2001: A Space Odyssey” or “The Exorcist”. ” Among others.
