University Council National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) Last Wednesday in an extraordinary session and unanimously approved the creation of five new professional jobs.

Maritime and Port Management, Gastronomy Management, Marketing, Architecture and Urban Planning, as well as Languages, Translation and Interpretation are the five new professional schools that UNMSM will offer to the country's students in 2024.

Although the details of its exact operation will still be defined in the upcoming University Council, the commissions in charge of creating the new schools are recommending it to the country's students after the 2024 admission process.

The new professional schools of Maritime and Port Administration, Gastronomy Administration and Marketing will be part of the UNMSM Faculty of Management Sciences.

On the other hand, the Professional School of Architecture and Urbanism It was created to train research leaders capable of solving problems and making decisions based on scientific and technological methodology with social responsibility and university extension. The school will be part of the Faculty of Geology, Mining, Metallurgy and Geological Engineering.
