As part of his tour of the Los Lagos region, Minister Aysen Etcheveri interacts with Radio Saco to discuss the state of science, technology and development in the region.
One of the main points of conversation was the importance of key activities and technologies carried out in the regions, understanding them as a convenient source of both tools and competitiveness.
In this regard, the Minister highlighted the importance of investing resources in regional universities as knowledge is created and developed.
Similarly, the minister emphasized the importance of giving space to science in the national territory, “not importing science”.
Finally, the commission pointed out that the government regulates technologies to ensure that any progress in this regard is not against human rights and called on people to empower themselves with technology to get the most out of it.
