The national government is strengthening Escobar’s Fly Tech Technology Pole to promote the knowledge economy

Knowledge Economy, Juan Manuel Seppi and the Secretaries of Industry and Production Development of the Nation, José Ignacio de Mendiguren, together with Escobar Mayor Ariel Sujarchuk, Fly Tech Technological Pole initiated the local development of the knowledge economy through software development and training in technology. Supported by the Ministry of Economy, the space promotes the establishment of technology-based companies and the development of local startups.

Escobar Fly Tech Technological Pole invested in the Knowledge Economy Poles Program through Non-refundable Contributions (ANR), which aims to promote the local development of the knowledge economy through a broad educational offering. Located at the entrance of Belen de Escobar on the Pan-American route, the Work Club is located in the building, which has an investment in equal areas between the city and the Knowledge Economy Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy. The knowledge economy is a strategic sector to boost Argentina’s growth by creating export capacity and quality jobs.
In terms of employment, 305,789 jobs were reached in May 2023 and increased by 2.4% compared to 2022. This is the highest employment level since 2007 (the beginning of the streak). In the first call, $950 million has been earmarked for 2021, along with the development of 65 nodes across the country; Second, in 2022, 89 projects were selected for 2.7 billion dollars.

In this third call, 81 new projects were received from 17 provinces and the autonomous city of Buenos Aires, of which 26 have already been approved and the rest are in the evaluation and analysis stage.
