XR Technology Jujuy 2023: Awards presented

In honor of Argentinian sculptor Lola Mora and her museum, the artificial intelligence project ¡Discover Yo-Lola! received the grand prize of $1,000,000 Argentine pesos for the prototype. This prototype allows you to chat with Lola via ChatBot, experience the magic of augmented reality with an Instagram filter, and become one of her sculptures with a simple photo. For its part, the interactive prototype “Jujuy, Living History” received one of the cash prizes of $500,000 Argentine pesos, which recreates the historical scenes of the province through augmented reality and allows you to be part of the most important events of the past. With its different protagonists, Jugeno takes Exodus as a starting point. Its development included the original art design of the environment and the main character, research, a script, 3D modeling, animation, the use of applications and QR creation. The project was created by Priscilla Alcon, Lucio Castellone, Felix Gonzalez, Beatriz Machado, Carina Mercado.

Along the same lines, the video game prototype “Saski-Gioventura” received a prize of $500,000 Argentine pesos. It is an augmented reality, puzzle and geocaching game for mobile where you can progress to the next destination by solving puzzles in different corners of Jujuy province. Saski aims to facilitate the tour of tourist destinations and create awareness about the conservation and maintenance of cultural and natural heritage. On the other hand, the prototype “Savior of Ghosts, It’s Not Happening Behind Your Back Anymore” was awarded with a stand at the virtual event for a 360º video trailer prototype for docu-fiction mini-series projects that recover oral histories. The protagonist is a small demigod who experiences landscapes and places in the first person as he travels through them, experiencing a new dimension of sound and visual perception. The project was led by Jorge Albornoz, Guillermo Arostegui, Lucas Gonzalez, Diego Paz and Ileana Brito.

Ending with accreditations, the Virtual Reality Prototype “Bukhara Immersive” will train through virtual.
