Call for #LatamDigital Awards 2024 is open

The Calling for the 11th Interlate #LatamDigital Awards 2024 is now open. Recognized as a benchmark in the evaluation of best practices and technological initiatives in Colombia, Latin America and the Caribbean, this event invites companies of all sizes and sectors to use their innovative digital projects for free.

The 11th #LatamDigital Awards, organized by Interlat, serves as a venue for recognition and promotion of companies leading technological innovation in the region. With a history of twelve years, the event has earned a reputation for focusing on digital projects that address regional challenges and promote sustainable development.

The eleventh edition of the competition comprises 11 basic pillars, each divided into 8 categories.including digital transformation, digital government, artificial intelligence (AI), e-commerce, digital tourism, digital entrepreneurship, digital marketing and cyber security. Additionally, new categories related to Green Technologies, Digital Solutions for Education (EduTech), Healthcare (SaludTech) and FinTech will be incorporated, reflecting current and emerging trends in the region.

Luis Carlos Chaquea B., Founder and General Director of Interlat, highlighted the importance of these new categories as a response to the current needs of the region. The event, which has become an important platform for the digital industry, expects the participation of key companies from Colombia and 19 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, as the guest of honor of the Dominican Republic.

A ceremony for the finalists will take place on June 21 at Club El Nogal in Bogotá. Prior to the award ceremony, technology exhibitions, forums, conferences and networking opportunities will be organized. Registration for project applications is open until March 24 and can be done through the Interlat website.

In the previous edition of the awards held in 2023, 1,370 projects from 19 countries were nominated., awards to 270 finalists in different categories. This year, even more participation is expected, underscoring the growth and impact of technology in the region.
