Defense in Technopolis offers an immersive experience that invites you to explore the missions of the armed forces.

With free permission, the model is presented in this edition with a variety of propositions under the motto “Joint Power”.

During the day, Minister Diana revealed: “Technopolis is a way to show Argentinians and especially young people how a country is built, a place to show the great work of many who are silent, that’s why the inauguration is a moment of celebration, joy and reward”.

And he continued: “The joy at the beginning of this exhibition is the joy of knowing that Argentina has a good future with work, science, technology, industry and art, that is, with quality of life for all. Let us have a strategic desire for sovereignty, development and social justice”.

The exhibition will be held with a two-pronged view of how security guarantees national sovereignty throughout the territory of Argentina, through the coordinated work between our forces and the resources and means developed by the Department of National Defense.

Emphasizing Argentina’s bipolar status and using Argentina’s Antarctica as a narrative axis, an immersive and audiovisual tour will be offered, revealing the armed forces, the various agencies of the Ministry and the work carried out therein. sites

Visitors will get a 360° interior view of the ARA “Almirante Irízar” Icebreaker, C-130 Hercules and Medium Argentine Tank (TAM). Likewise, they will be able to observe 3D models of the ARA “Petrel” inspection vessel, a Bomba aircraft and a TAM to learn about some of the methods used by the Argentine Armed Forces.

The space will also feature information panels providing details on the Ministry of Defense, its affiliates and companies that are part of the Defense Industrial Complex to share a comprehensive and educational view of national security with visitors.

In addition, from the day of its opening, various military bands will perform at the mega-show, among them: the Band of the General Staff of the Argentine Navy; “Tambor De Tacuarí” Military Band of the 1st “Patricios” Infantry Regiment; Ituzaingó Military Band; “George Newberry” Military Music Band, Army Symphony Group, Combate de San Lorenzo Military Band and “Lieutenant Benjamin Matienzo” Military Music Band.

The Tecnópolis property is open from July 15 to August 27. During the winter break, the park is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 12 to 7 pm and in August from Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 12 to 7 pm. As always, entry is free.
