More cases

Another amount is that of businessman José Grana, for S/39.9 million linked to the cases of the ‘Construction Club’, Gasoducto Sur, Interoceánica Sur and Lima Metro. Joseph Maimon, who cooperated in the case of former President Alejandro Toledo, was charged US$1 million, or Gil Shavit, a businessman involved in the case of former governor Felix Moreno, was charged US$1.25 million.

As for the money laundering cases, there is a conviction related to Ollanda Humala and the Nationalist Party case, civil compensation of S/50,000, of which S/9,000 has already been collected. There are also five sentences of effective cooperation related to the cocktail case – which is due to go to trial with Keiko Fujimori as the main defendant – for which the full S / 10,486 taxes have already been collected.

On the other hand, the Prosecutor’s Office and the Attorney General’s Office have already signed an effective cooperation agreement with the company Aenza (formerly Graña y Montero). However, the deal is still pending judicial approval and sentencing.

All of this is in addition to the fact that the Attorney General’s Office expects to collect civil damages if the investigations in each of these cases result in convictions for the defendants.
