Regional agricultural technology exports have grown by more than 40 percent since the beginning of the year
Seven companies from the region are going to the Saudi Food Production Exhibition with the support of the business sector to strengthen and expand their business deals.
01.05.2024 Regional agricultural technology exports reached 15.8 million euros in the first two months of the year, a 43 percent increase over the same period last year. This increase is much higher than the national average, which is an increase of 9.8 percent. With 9 percent of total national exports, the region is the fourth autonomous community to sell the most agricultural technology abroad.
In order to expand and strengthen international trade agreements in the sector, seven companies have traveled to the Saudi Food Production Fair, organized by the Murcia Regional Development Agency (Information) and the Murcia Chamber of Commerce. In the framework of the overseas promotion program, they will have the opportunity to showcase their products, expand their network of contacts, establish and strengthen relationships with customers and suppliers.
Companies have individual stands within a group space for the Murcia region and will be assisted by specialist technicians throughout the event.
JoaquÃn Gómez, director of INFO, highlighted that “the rapid growth of exports reflects the development of cutting-edge agricultural technology in the Murcia region that responds to key demands from international actors.”
