Scholarships to study a Master's degree in Economics or Humanities abroad

The application period is open until February 22.

The Ramon Areces Foundation has issued a call for one more year Scholarships to Study Postgraduate Degree Abroad. It is currently offering grants for Masters Degrees in Social Sciences and Humanities for the academic year 2024-2025.

The scholarships are aimed at university graduates or final year students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies at universities or research centers abroad in the following topics:

· Social Science: Economic analysis, business distribution, applied economics, business economics, economic history and EU law.
· Humanities: History, Philosophy, Hispanic Linguistics, Spanish Literature, Geography, Digital Humanities.

The scholarship lasts for one academic year in the case of a master's degree, and 12 months for a doctoral degree, and 2,100 Euro per month net provided, and includes registration and tuition fees at the foreign university or center, and annual round-trip travel expenses. The scholarship does not cover the costs of internship periods, language courses or attending congresses or conferences undertaken by the beneficiary.

Los requirements Applicants must meet:

· Have Spanish nationality.
· Hold a bachelor's degree, degree or master's degree in a country of the European Higher Education Area or outside it, demonstrating the integrity of the degree.
· Be studying in the final year of one of the above degree programs at a Spanish university or a country in the European Higher Education Area.
· Accreditation to a university or research center abroad with a recognized honorarium for carrying out the research requested in the proposed study program or scholarship.
· Excellent knowledge of the target country's language.
Should not be beneficiaries of any scholarship, financial aid, loan or any other similar allocation while enjoying the scholarship.

Documents to be submitted include proof of academic record, proof of having a bachelor's, degree or master's degree, proof of admission to a foreign university or center for the 2024/2025 academic year, certificates or proof of knowledge. Foreign language or curriculum home, among others.

Applicants must also submit a report of the studies to be carried out and may be invited to an interview at the Ramón Areces Foundation, which will be taken into account when awarding the scholarships.
