SEC will offer free courses on technology development to Sonora high school students

Hermosillo, Sonora; October 4, 2023.- The Secretary of Education and Culture (SEC) of the Government of Sonora made a high-level call to ensure that all girls and young women have equal opportunities to succeed in careers related to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Education officials stressed the importance of reducing the gender-based digital divide, which is why education policies are promoted in the institution so that women develop skills in these knowledge fields from the education sector.

SEC, in partnership with Fundación Televisa, will teach four free online courses to young high school students, where they will learn to program web pages, design apps, learn about robotics and expand their knowledge of artificial intelligence.
