Strong rebound in Ibex 35, which rose 1.5% to recover 11,000 points

The IBEX 35, the main index of the Spanish stock market, rose 1.5% on Tuesday to settle at 11,080.9 points. The ad, the second in a row, allows the Spanish electorate to regain the 11,000 it lost a week ago. Most stocks ended the day in the green Sabadell rejected BBVA’s merger offer. Promotions increased by 5.23%; Fluidra, advanced 4.84%; BBVA, which rose 3.61%; Santander, which posted a 3.45% increase; and Acciona Energia, whose shares ended the day up 3.3%.

Only eight stocks declined. Waterfalls were guided With IAG, this left 2.95%; Grifols, down 2.46%; Rovi lost 1.95%; and ArcelorMittal, which fell 1.72%. Sabadell shares lost 0.45% on the first day after the merger was rejected.

Among adults of ibex, they all ended up being positive. BBVA and Santander’s increases were joined by Iberdrola (+2.1%), CaixaBank (+1.44%) and Inditex (+0.87%).

For its part, the risk premium worsened to close to 78 basis points after standing at 77.15 in the previous session.
