Barcelona (Spain), April 15 (EFE).- Researchers from around the world will participate in extensive learning in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. STEAMConf Barcelona 24 will take place between next Thursday, April 18 and Saturday, April 20, in the sailing space of the Maritime Faculty of Barcelona, in the Citadel campus of Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), with a program of 72 activities. Strengthen alliances
Experts, researchers and leaders in education, science and technology from around the world will participate in 72 activities. Additionally, there will be teachers working with classrooms and students.
From an international perspective, the meeting aims to strengthen alliances and collaborations between experts and researchers working on the development of learning in the fields of science and technology in Europe and Latin America.
Along with UPF professors, international experts such as Rochelle Gutierrez, Professor of Mathematics Education at the University of Illinois (USA); María del Mar Patrón Vázquez, Co-Founder and Co-Director of Habla Teacher Institutes, Merida (Mexico); Scientist, artist and teacher at Nuvia Grisol Roland High School of Technology High School of Education (HTH-GSE) in San Diego (USA) with Sunny Dawn Summers and Alaina Carter of New Harmony High School in New Orleans (USA).
Randy Williams, expert in robot-human interaction, AI and education from MIT MediaLab Massachusetts (USA) will also participate. Also, Educational Systems Transformer from Scott Boldt, Belfast (Ireland). Likewise, experts in maker projects, together with Barbara Donici and Elena Sofia Pavli from Fondazione Reggio Children (Italy), help to implement new methods based on technology in classrooms. EFE
