During the AnimeNYC 2023 event, it was announced that the manga was written and illustrated Koko Fujiwara, Katsute mahou shoujo to aku wa tekitai shideita (The magical girl and the evil lieutenant were used as archenemies), will be adapted into anime by studios bones. This is a surprising announcement considering that the manga was left unfinished due to the writer’s death in 2015.
Koko Fujiwara Manga publication began in September 2013, and was canceled after the author’s death in March 2015, leaving the story unfinished. The third anthology volume was published after conversations between the publisher and the author’s family, who had previously written the famous story.Ino x Boku SS“.
