Economics will create a conference on “vulnerable business models”: Mendoza Government Press

The Ministry of Economy and Energy announced the celebration of the conference “Impact Business Models” which will be held on Thursday the 26th at La Enoteca, located at Peltier 611 in the city. This event seeks to disseminate and promote good practices related to the triple impact implemented by Mendoza’s commercial and industrial sector.

The day is organized by the “Sustainable Mendoza” project, which connects the departments of entrepreneurship and innovation and economic development of the province. Its aim is to plan impactful policy that crosses public and private sectors and social organizations.

“Through this meeting, the aim is to establish a bridge of communication between local companies and industries, entrepreneurs and social organizations, to share knowledge and experiences in the field of sustainability. The event is presented as an opportunity for companies to express their commitment to sustainability and to learn from the good practices implemented by the business ecosystem of the entrepreneurial region,” said this Pablo Carega, who is in charge of the effort, explained.

For his part, Federico Morapido, the province’s director of innovation and economic development, expressed: “We seek to improve Mendoza’s economic ecosystem in relation to sustainability and sustainable development objectives.”

In this panel, key companies such as Empresa Energe, Frio Latina and DERVINSA will share their experiences in integrating sustainable practices into their operations.

11 – Panel: “Social Impact as Sustainable Development”

Leading companies such as Bianco y Nero, Grupo AVINEA and La Marchigiana will discuss how they have managed to create a positive social impact through their activities.

11.30 – Panel: “Economic Impact as Sustainable Development”

Companies such as Veralia and Trivento will present how they achieved a positive economic impact on their businesses by adopting sustainable practices.

12.15 – Work schedules and Networking

Work schedules coordinated by UNCuyo’s Faculty of Economic Sciences Center for Research and Economic Development. This space allows exchange of ideas and establishing connections.

13 – Conclusion and completion of the day. The event will conclude with a summary of key findings and an official closing.
