Peru vs. Bolivia | “It is not to be afraid, but obviously Peru has its own thing,” replied the president of the Bolivian federation about possible friendship | Peru Team | Game-Total

Interview: “With 66% points in contention, we are fully in the race for qualification”

-It is rumored that we will play a friendly here in Peru against Bolivia in June, is this information true?

Let's see, we are in negotiations. We have made a proposal to host a friendly match through the president of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF), Agustin Lozano. Anyway, we are in talks because nothing is official yet.

-Peru already debuted under Jorge Fossati, what do you think about this new Peru? Want to be scared now?

(Laughs) It's nothing to be afraid of, but obviously it has its own thing. Peru has always given us a fight and we know they have talented players, so we live up to expectations.

-How did your proposal for them to play in Lima or America and your interest in playing a friendly with Peru come about?

We have an agreement with FPF for a round-trip tournament. We did one in Arequipa and we await the arrival of mercy. We understand that due to logistical issues, it may have to be held in Peru before the Copa America. The important thing for us is to keep the game and give everything to our team.

-When is the deadline for FPF's response to decide the friendly against Peru?

We have everything defined by the end of the week.

Bolivia closes with Mexico on May 31 in Chicago and Colombia on June 15, so we have a match against Peru in the middle.

-Will they play Colombia in Colombia or Bolivia?

Let's play in America

-But if Peru tells you to play friendly in America, that's good for you…

Of course yes, more is better.
