Third edition Cuti Business Forum at LATU and IT International Baufest revealed that using This year’s theme is Artificial Intelligence to Increase Sustainability.
The third edition of the Cuti Business Forum, Uruguay’s largest event in the Uruguayan technology sector, took place this November, with the aim of showing the importance of technology in the development of the country’s various industries. Information (CUTI).
The meeting brought together more than a thousand people in the LATU facilities, who participated in talks and workshops with national and international speakers, focused on technology as a productive engine for other industries and the business opportunities of the IT sector in Uruguay and the world. IT multinational Baufest chose the relationship between artificial intelligence and sustainability as its theme for this year, offering a talk with several examples of how companies can use the technology to achieve a lower impact on the environment.
One of their developments was for Dasa, a fishing company from Peru that produces fish meal using a specific type of fish. “We worked with them for about a year and developed a model to automatically detect anchovy schools,” explained Leonardo Tosi, Head of Data Practice at Buffett and a speaker during the Small Business Forum.
