Telefónica's commitment to the field of energy efficiency dates back to 2005, and since 2010 the impact of implemented efficiency measures has begun to be recorded.. Therefore, since then, the company has developed a total of 1,574 projects that have generated continuous savings of more than 2,200 million euros, more than 13,800 GWh of energy and avoided the equivalent of 4 million tons of CO2.
