The program consists of 132 activities, which will take place until November 17 in 25 municipalities and cities of Extremadura, which seeks to promote social interest in science, technology and innovation.
The activities of this VII Week of Science and Technology, one of the most important scientific dissemination initiatives in the world and the most popular in Extremadura, can now be consulted online.
The initiative is celebrated in the month of November every year with the aim of encouraging active participation of teachers, associations and research staff of primary and secondary education centers, especially among the younger generation in science and technology. The event with science and technology is the focus of this year’s World Science Day for Peace and Development, which has been proclaimed by the UN and UNESCO since 2002 and is celebrated on November 10 every year with the aim of recognizing the importance of science and technology.
