Women who refused to pay this ‘quota’ or did not show any kind of resistance were violated to the extent of being threatened and killed. Likewise, they were relocated or forced to rotate in different areas and squares to avoid authorities identifying and rescuing them.

Dinastía Alayon, a criminal organization allegedly responsible for kidnappings, extortion and murders against businessmen and health professionals, is also being investigated. 80 women were rescued

The mega-operation also allowed for the rescue of 80 women who were victims of human trafficking who were forced to stay in sexual exploitation sites run by this criminal network.

They were recovered from the following areas: Plaza Pro (Los Olivos), Plaza Norte (SMP), María Auxiliadora (SJM), Plaza Huandoy (SMP), San Martín (SJL). Also, the police have identified at least 180 women who were sexually exploited in these 5 places.

A total of 38 ammunitions including 25 AKM, 10 parabellum pistol and 380N short were seized by the police. Also, 7,230 soles and several packets of ganja were seized.

Arrests and searches

In relation to those arrested, a total of 24 members of the National Police Criminal Unit were said to be: 20 in Lima, 2 in Arequipa, one in La Libertad and one in San Martin. 8 others were caught in the fatal delicto.
