SALT LAKE CITY — Tech-savvy teens show off their smarts on Telemundo Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah— The Utah State Fairpark & ​​Event Center will be buzzing with innovation this weekend as dozens of tech-savvy teenagers gather for the “Rumble in the Rockies,” a robotics competition designed for middle school and high schools. School.

The heart of the event lies in the annual engineering challenge presented as a game. Students, fueled by their passion for technology and armed with the guidance of their dedicated professors and mentors, have spent countless hours building innovative robots.

These robots will face off in 8-10 qualifiers, with each team competing for a chance to qualify for the prestigious VEX Robotics World Championship.

The VEX World Robotics Championship is the world's largest and fastest growing middle and high school robotics program, with more than 20,000 teams from 50 countries competing in more than 1,700 competitions worldwide.

The “Rumble in the Rockies” will be held on January 26 and Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Utah State Fairpark & ​​Event Center.
